Pushkin House

Despite administrative changes made in the composition of the Editorial Board of the new complete works of Alexander Pushkin, preparation for the edition continues and several volumes are near completion. The first volume has been published. The first part of the second volume is with the publisher; since the death of Vadim Vatsuro in January 2000, Ekaterina Larionova has been in charge of this volume; the second part of it is cur­rently in preparation. The third volume, which is to contain more than 200 poems from the Mikhailovskoe period through 1829, should reach comple­tion in December 2001 and thereafter reach the publisher. The seventh volume, containing Pushkin’s dramatic works, is also undergoing steady work.

Preparations for an encylopedia of Pushkin continue also.
